The LDTD ion source can be installed on different Waters mass spectrometers.  The new universal ion source housing (ion source : ESI, APCI, ESCI^R, APPI, Trizaic UPLC and nanoFlow^TMESI)  is used as an interface for the LDTD.  Therefore, any Waters mass spectrometer equipped with the new universal ion source housing can be used as a LDTD-MS/MS.  Here is a list of the different Waters mass spectrometers on which the LDTD can be installed :

• Synapt G2 (model HDMS and MS)
• Xevo G2 QTof
• Xevo QTof MS
• Xevo TQ MS
• Xevo TQ-S
• ACQUITY TQD

The Z-Spray^TM Fishbowl ion source housing is also used as an interface for the LDTD.  The LDTD can therefore also be installed on the following Waters mass spectrometers :
